This tool supports three different relationship astrocartography modes. Each one maps location in a different way.

Synastry Astrocartography: Displays two sets of planetary lines on the same world map, one for each person. This allows you to compare how both individuals respond to the same location and see where one or both charts are strongly activated.

Davison Astrocartography: Uses the Davison relationship chart as a single astrocartography map. It focuses on the relationship itself, but through a real midpoint in time and space. This provides a more grounded framework for applying locational astrology, offering insight into how the relationship may unfold through shared real-world experience in different places.

Synastry mode is best when you want to compare two individuals on the same map. Davison modes are best when you want to study the relationship itself as a locational chart.

How to Generate Your Relationship Astrocartography Map

Step 1: Enter the birth date, time, and birthplace for the first person.

Step 2: Enter the birth date, time, and birthplace for the second person.

Accurate birth times improve the precision of angular lines, especially Ascendant and Midheaven lines. Once both birth charts are entered, the tool will generate either a two-person astrocartography map or a single relationship astrocartography map, depending on the mode selected.

What This Map Covers

Depending on the mode selected, the map will display either two individual astrocartography charts together or one relationship astrocartography chart.

Synastry Mode: Shows two sets of AC, DC, MC, and IC planetary lines on the same world map. This helps you compare how each person experiences the same location and whether the place supports one partner more than the other.

Davison Mode: Shows a single astrocartography map based on the Davison relationship chart. This can highlight locations where the shared bond is more grounded, active, meaningful, or challenged in real-life experience.

Parans and Aspects: Davison modes also include paran lines and locational aspect interpretation, adding another layer beyond standard angular lines. Synastry mode focuses on comparing the two individual sets of planetary lines and does not include paran and aspect interpretation in the same way.

Location Suitability: When you click a place on the map, the report explains how that location may affect the selected mode, whether through each person separately or through the relationship itself as one chart.

Nearby Line Influence: Planetary effects are strongest directly on the line, but many places within about 200 to 300 km can still carry the same influence.

Understanding the Angles

AC (Ascendant): Identity, vitality, self-expression, and personal presence. In relationship astrocartography, Ascendant lines can show where a person or relationship feels more immediate, alive, or personally activated.

MC (Midheaven): Career, reputation, direction, and visibility. Midheaven lines often highlight places where one person or the relationship itself may become more publicly active, ambitious, or recognised.

DC (Descendant): Partnership, attraction, and interaction with others. Descendant lines are especially important in relationship astrocartography because they often show where relationship themes become more active through other people and close bonds.
