Weekend Love Forecast – Dramatic Grand Trine In Fire – POPPIES

succulentWe’re in the last days of the Pisces stellium, as we head into a fully realized grand trine in fire with the Leo Moon on Sunday. The nicely spaced grouping of Neptune, Venus, and Mercury in Pisces pings along beautifully with the late Cancer Moon on Friday.

Friday night, the Moon trines all three. Early on, the Cancer Moon opposes Pluto and quincunxes Jupiter. The Sun trines Jupiter and squares Pluto (all weekend). Mercury sextiles Pluto.

The general tenor of the whole weekend energy is BIG DRAMA that feels barfy but shakes out in some home truths that have been circling for ages. The Moon’s involvement with Sun-Jupiter-Pluto and Neptune-Venus-Mercury culminates Sunday with exact trines to the Sun and Jupiter as they trine each other. It looks as though “all’s well that ends well”, as if anything really ends… but you know. It looks like the drama plays out in ways that move us visibly forward – quite a feat as Mars in Gemini is largely sitting this one out somewhere just off screen.

Well, sitting it out doesn’t fit Gemini. Absconded, nipped off, popped around the corner, went out for smokes. Maybe it knows better with its ruler touching divine wisdom in Pisces. There’s plenty of energy to go and do, but it’s not tapped to stand center stage in this weekend’s drama. Explore when compelled and have fun as the fun presents itself. But it doesn’t look like a big weekend to grind out your issues in active work. Enjoy what your body does and call it good.

“All’s well that ends well” is a Shakespeare coinage. Mercury in Gemini is totes Puck. ::finger to lips:: Shhhhhh.

So Friday night the Cancer Moon creates flow when you let the drama play with itself and find your pleasures elsewhere. No one can make you emotionally reactive. If you choose to bypass that circuit, you can bliss out with a higher line in to satisfaction. Emotional energy can filter through Mercury’s Pluto sextile and give you an edge on digging up secrets. Emotional intelligence IS an edge. Just stop short of reacting with too much attachment.

There are secrets and there are perspective busting reframes of so-called facts. Pass them through your bullshit detector before swallowing them whole. Why might you want to fool yourself? If you do actually want to fool yourself, DON’T pass them through your bullshit detector.

Saturday night, we have the Leo Moon in charge. It relates more closely to the drama. But it also brings an engaging edge (whereas the Moon in Cancer is having NONE of that). The Moon briefly trines Mars in Gemini. So do have fun, but stop short of rattling that cage if the cage isn’t locked… locked down TIGHT.

It really does promise some stirring action. It’s quite benign as long as you don’t act out beyond the limits that are always in place in society.

Sunday morning, that Leo Moon quincunxes Neptune and Saturn. Then it goes on to quincunx Venus and Pluto. Venus sextiles Pluto. That dramatic mood gets some sticks struck through the spokes (say THAT three times fast). What is real? Then we’re faced with the blowback. What happens if what you really want isn’t so perfect? What if you get what you really want and you don’t want it anymore (or some permutation thereof). We may get a chance to figure that out and set it right.

Then the Moon trines the Sun and Jupiter and we’ve got a resolution on blast… or at least the impetus to a resolution. Your mileage may vary. It’s a moment in time when the path lines up with the feet and it all feels right – not just right – grand. The Moon then quincunxes Mercury and sextiles Juno. Keep your eyes on the prize. Tune in to the real point of what you’re doing; it’s easy to get dazed by beauty and lie down in the poppies, or wander off into the weeds/woods.

What are your weekend plans?
